Orange Health Digital Helps Boehringer Ingelheim Win Their First Guinness World Record

Problem Statement

Boehringer Ingelheim aimed to raise awareness around stroke therapy and motivate individuals to take actionable steps, ensuring that the message resonates and drives meaningful engagement. For Orange Health Digital, our goal was to raise stroke awareness, while strengthening the brand’s reputation & building brand value.

We conceptualized the outreach campaign, developed a campaign website and used a multi-channel digital approach to drive awareness and pledge registrations on the website. 

The portal received a record-breaking 17,691 pledges over a span of 7 days!

Strategy We Used

  • Campaign Microsite: We developed a campaign website to record pledge registrations. The website also shared valuable information on stroke, early signs and symptoms, rehabilitation protocols etc.  
  • Driving Traffic For Pledge Registration: We ran a week-long awareness campaign across digital platforms (social media, search, display and programmatic inventory across media sites) to drive people on to our campaign website.
  • HCP Engagement Angle: We roped in India’s most reputable neuro specialists to participate in this campaign. We conducted LIVE sessions, doctor led Q&A sessions with HCPs across the country to raise awareness on early signs of stroke. 
  • Influencer Marketing: Dr. Aditi Govitrikar, a renowned social media celebrity, with her expertise in mental health, was brought on board as an influencer and spokesperson for our stroke awareness campaign. Leveraging her background, she conducted LIVE sessions and engaged with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to educate the public on stroke symptoms and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Organic Search & Paid Search Efforts: Synchronization of SEO with PPC campaigns were run to target high-intent search terms that can be funneled to bring relevant traffic on the campaign website. 

Impact We Generated

  • Led to a record-breaking 17,691 pledges & earned Boehringer Ingelheim their first Guinness World Record for ‘Most pledges received for a stroke awareness campaign in one week’.
  • Website witnessed a traffic of over 25,000 users over a span of just 7 days.
  • 62% of the primary and competitive keywords targeted were ranking on the first page on Google.
  • We earned over 110,000 impressions from KOL stroke awareness sessions.
  • Our engagement rate on social media witnessed a 185% jump over the period of the campaign.
